Disability Support Services

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Academic Resource Center administers accommodations for students with disabilities. As part of the interactive process, accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis following review of documentation and a meeting with an Academic Resource Center advisor.

It is the responsibility of the student, once approved for accommodations, to send their accommodation letter(s) to their faculty. This process will be reviewed during the initial meeting between the student and advisor.

Accommodations are not retroactive; students must make arrangements to meet with their professors at the start of each semester to discuss implementation of accommodations.
