Spring 2022 ARC Exam Proctoring
Posted in Announcements | Tagged accommodations, Announcements
The Academic Resource Center offers proctoring services for students who have been approved for testing accommodations through the ARC.
The ARC will be working remotely until January 31st. If you would like to make a reservation to take an exam with the ARC via Zoom-proctor, please follow the instructions below. Virtual proctors will be scheduled on an as-needed basis, so please ensure to make your request in a timely manner.
Starting January 31st, 2022, a proctor will be available in person Monday-Thursday, 8am-6pm ET, and Friday 9am-5pm ET in the ARC testing center, located in the Leavey Center, Suite 338.
Information for Students:
To request to take a test with the ARC, students should:
1. Fill out the Spring 2022 ARC Test Reservation Form at least 7 days in advance of the requested testing time.
2. Alert their professor that they requested a seat at the ARC, so their professor can supply exam materials as soon as possible.
Please note that after completing the Google Form, students will not receive a confirmation email from the ARC. The ARC will follow up with the student if we have questions or need to inform them of a location change. Students will receive a copy of their responses automatically after submitting the Google Form.
Students who have been approved to take an exam via Zoom can access the Zoom room here. Students taking exams via Zoom should also review the ARC’s instructions for Zoom exams.
Information for Faculty:
Once students have requested their seat via the form linked above, faculty should use ARC Exam Professor Form to provide the ARC with the exam materials as soon as possible. To ensure proper formatting and printing, please upload the documents as PDFs. To provide exam materials by email, send PDFs to the ARC’s dedicated testing account: arc-testing@georgetown.edu.
Once a student has taken the exam, faculty or a departmental representative (e.g. a TA) can pick up completed exams Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm at the ARC, Leavey Center, Suite 338. Please make sure to bring your GoCard.
